SHIPPING
Order online through our Secure Shopify Shopping Cart. Credit cards are charged at time of order, EVEN IF IT IS A PRE-ORDER. We do not store any critical credit credit information and all cc data online is encrypted automatically. A sales tax of 8.25% applies for state of Texas sales only.
Normally, your item will ship within 2 business days (usually 2 weeks for our Made in USA ceramics) of processing your order. Items marked "PRE-ORDER" status will ship in 3-4 weeks typically (unless stated otherwise on the listing). Our lamps are Drop Test Certified and ship for a flat $15 per lamp via FedEx Home or Ground in the 48 states (larger commercial shipping rates can vary). We do not ship internationally or to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico, for the flat $15, but contact us info@modernlantern.com and we can quote you a shipping price. Canadian shipping prices are calculated at checkout, other countries by requesting a quote.

RETURN / REFUND POLICY
We are committed to making sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase, no really. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Modern Lantern, you may return it for replacement or full refund within 30 days from the date of purchase with your original packaging only. If you have any issues with the performance of your Modern Lantern, first read through our User Guide, see the FAQs, and finally feel free to contact a customer service representative using our contact page.
NOTE: We can only accept returns for NON product issues in our original packaging, including the shade in its original wrap. We do NOT pay for return shipping unless the product was damaged or has a technical issue. Once you contact us, we will approve and issue you, via email, a pre-paid return packing slip.
We charge a 10% restocking fee (from the cost of the item or items) for return shipping charges/restocking unless the product was received defective or damaged. We only issue refunds once we receive and inspect your return, so pack with care! We did;) We can usually waive those fees if you are looking for an exchange by purchasing a different size, color, etc.

WARRANTY
Modern Lantern warrants this product is free from defects in workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. The rechargeable battery is warranted for one year from the date of purchase. The LED bulb is warranted for one year from the date of purchase.
A receipt or order confirmation from us indicating date of purchase is required for all warranty claims (we can help you find this information if necessary). This warranty does NOT cover damages resulting from accident, misuse, leaving our indoor rated lamps in the outdoor elements, or any tampering with components to alter the performance of the product.
