Round Top Antiques Fair Fall 2016
Recently we took a trip down to the Texas Hill Country to check out some of the best antiques from all over. The Round Top Antique Fair is a huge, sprawling event that includes everything from little antique trinkets to super high end decor from all over the world. They only have three fairs per year, and fall is one of their biggest events. There were so many things to see, people to meet, and inspiration to be had, we were blown away! (now if we only had more time;)
What fun strolling through the hill country landscape looking at folks finds. Round Top had everything you can think of from our friend Bill Pennington's industrial upcycled goods at Reviver Labs to The Lamp Lady - Ellen Oliver. Her antique lamps were both beautiful and unique finds, always in tip top shape!
We were on a quest to load up on some vintage lamps we retrofit using our patented parts to rebuild these old jewels to be super tech lamps you can place literally anywhere in your home with total disregard for outlets. We were stunned at the options (and occasionally stunned by the prices;) but we sure did find some winners and are proud to showcase them now on our Etsy shop page, Modern Lantern Vintage.
