In the world of interior design, lamps play a large role in making a room feel complete, and are used all over the house. So why is it less common to use lamps in kitchen design, when the kitchen is often the most frequented room in the house? Check out these designers and how they used lamps in the kitchen to take their designs to the next level.
This lake house kitchen design is from Alyssa Kapito Interiors. She used this tall and narrow lamp on the counter top to add height and bring the eye up from the counter to the gorgeous styled shelves above.
In this “Dutch Colonial” kitchen by Carter Kay Interiors, two lamps are used in the window to give the cabinets below some interest, and to provide extra lighting in the kitchen at night when the beautiful sunlight isn’t streaming in.
This family home in Atlanta is by Elly Poston Interiors. The lamp in this kitchen is truly the focal point, and brings the theme of the rest of the house into the kitchen perfectly.
Love the idea of lamps in your kitchen, but don’t love the idea of cords on your countertop? We have the perfect solution. Our cordless lamps are perfect for use in the kitchen because of just that, no cords! With a modern lantern cordless lamp, you don't have to worry about the hazards of a cord, which makes spills and clean up so easy! Here are some great examples of our lamps used in the kitchen, you can see that without cords, the options are limitless!
Here is our Mini Metal Cordless Lamp in Bronze from Tanya at House of Six Interiors. The mini lamp is perfect for kitchen spaces where you want some extra light and warmth, but in a small space. Great for shelving, under cabinets, or on your island for a low profile lighting option that is gorgeous without being over bearing.
Katherine at Hausmatter used our Art Deco Mini Cordless Lamp on her kitchen counter to compliment the gold hardware on her cabinets, and to add an extra lighting element in this small but stunning kitchen.
In this last example, Deema at Pretty on Fridays used our Bella Ceramic Cordless Lamp in Bronze on her kitchen counter which can easily be moved around the kitchen and used for so many different reasons. Trust us, once you add a cordless lamp to your kitchen, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
As an added bonus, check out this blog by Thou Swell to read his thoughts about our lamps, and how you can effortlessly use them in your kitchen.
Thanks for reading, and hope you found some inspiration!
