Every lamp comes with a rechargeable battery pack, but an extra pack will give you zero downtime during charging as one will always be ready to use. If you use your Modern Lantern cordless lamp often, this is recommended.

    Great service!

    I had purchased an extra battery when buying my first lamp, and it stopped recharging after having done so about a dozen times. I contacted Modern Lantern and the response was immediate. I had a replacement battery within a week. Customer satisfaction is paramount to this company and it shows. I love these lamps! I have three of them and would love to have more. You won't regret buying one.

    Great product and customer service

    The cordless lamps were perfect for our living room with no floor outlets. It’s nice to find a battery lamp that looks like a regular lamp! We bought an extra battery and just switch it out when it starts to get low, so we always have light. We love the lamps and ended up buying 3 in total.
    The customer service is great as well. When I placed my second order I mistakenly ordered the wrong size extra battery, and the owner emailed me to let me know and to ask if I wanted him to change the order. It’s nice to have that very attentive level of service!

    Love having an extra battery pack!

    It is wonderful to have a fully charged battery pack when the lamp gets dim.
    Just switch the battery packs out and we are ready to go with no waiting for one to charge up!
