Favorite High End Lamps Using Blacks and Metallics

One of our favorite trends this year here at Modern Lantern is the beautiful combination of black and metallic! It's such a luxurious, and versatile combination. We're certainly fans; just take a look at our own collection. But we're loving the color combination in other lighting styles as well. Here we've put together a list of our top 10 favorite black and metallic lamps for you to take a look at! 

Studio Floor Lamp: 

Cedar and Moss Spectra: 

For an added touch of sparkle on the ceiling, this overhead lighting fixture from Cedar and Moss is perfect. We could picture this completing a dark bathroom, or running down an art-decorated hallway. It's both understated and upscale. The gold dipped bulbs would provide a stunning effect on the area they light up. This model is also super versatile in terms of style, and type of space you could include it in!

Cordless Oscar Task Lamp: 

This is one of our own from Modern Lantern Cordless Lamps! This is our latest task lamp model right in time for back to school and work. This is the perfect finishing touch on plenty of home offices. The antique brass finish is stunning in both modern and traditional spaces. The best part is you don't have to design around a cord. It can sit on any desk and move around as you need it to! 

Three-Light Stilnovo Chandelier:

For something dramatic overhead, this three-light chandelier from Stilnovo is modern, yet classic at the same time. The textured glass is a look from the past, mixed with the sharp modern angles for a really interesting piece. We love the muted antiqued look on the brass here as well. We could see this as the perfect overhead piece for a small dining table or mid-century inspired living space. 

Leopard Hide Table Lamp: 

This is a really bold, fun addition to the list from William Sonoma! Throwing in the leopard hide is a whole new twist on this trend. This is more than just a table lamp, this is a feature piece. We'd love to see this light up a super modern look, or mid-century, whimsical, feminine space. We could see this paired perfectly with some equally bold vintage art. Two of these side by side on a console table would be a show stopper! 

Cordless Bronze "Bartlett" Lamp: 

Another one of our own! This is the Bartlett Cordless Table Lamp in an all bronze finish. It's quite the centerpiece. It's the perfect lighting compliment to any bold design. We've seen this one used in a super modern bar in NYC, and the result was absolutely stunning! They put them on tables throughout the bar without having to worry about finding outlets or hiding cords. If you're looking for a way to really embrace the bronze metallic trend, this is a convenient, cordless way to do so! 

Cordless Bronze "Prisma" Lamp: 

No, really, we love bronze. Here is our Prisma Cordless Table Lamp with an all bronze metallic finish like the Bartlett shown above. This funky geometric shape is even more bold than the others. It's a great mid-century looking modern piece. This table lamp looks incredible when paired with really neutral tones in a clean space because it is such an attention-grabbing piece. It adds a hint of glamour to any design - all without having to design your room around those ugly cords! 

Cordless Bronze "Bella" Mini Lamp:

We've seen this used brilliantly at the end of bars, on entry tables, and even scattered throughout events on cocktail tables. Ceramic Twist Table Lamp: 

For something a little less dramatic and a little more subtle, this ceramic twist table lamp from William Sonoma is a good in between. It brings us the black and brass trend in a little more subtle and understated fashion. It's traditional looking, and yet a little modern, so it can be used in a variety of spaces. It's height makes it ideal for rooms with high ceilings or next to tall headboards for a grand master bedroom!

Metallic Band Table Lamp: 

This is one of our favorite lamp bases and it looks brilliant in brass and black! This lamp is from Shades of Light. It's super new age looking but would be a nice single, modern touch in a traditional space as well. This model can really work well in any space. We'd love to see it in a bedroom on nightstands or two of them lighting up a super sleek modern living room.
